Our sympathy to all of you. We have good memories of your parents @ Haycock. Your parents had the Bergeys for lunch one Sunday. The table must have had seating for 15. Your Dad was helpful when Lowell needed to pick out a location for I-W Service, in or around 1965. You are in our prayers.

I extend sincere sympathy to the family on the passing of your beloved Mother. I remember your parents as a child at Haycock Mennonite Church. Betty always carried a smile on her face, and joy in her heart. I pray for God to bring peace and comfort to all of you as you mourn her passing.

Prayers for the family. A special memory having them for neighbors in Haycock.
I enjoyed playing harmonica the last few years for Betty.

We are very sorry to hear of the death of Betty. I remember her fondly from the years when we both lived in Scottdale. But I also remember her as Kathy's mom. Kathleen, I wish so much we would be able to come to Johnstown. We are previously committed on both Tuesday and Wednesday. I would love to see you and reconnect after all of this time. We wish you and your family a wonderful time of remembering and honoring your mom. Jim and Linda

Thanks so much for posting a few pictures on this website. Just looking at them brings smiles to my face. I will always remember them (at Scottdale Mennonite Church) as people of integrity and rock-solid faith, so very approachable and always willing to share a laugh or a story. No church or family can have too many such persons. I have a long row of tiger lilies along the frontage of my rural property. Years ago, Betty offered grocery bags full of tiger lily tubers to anyone who might want them. The flowers are thriving and remind me of her. May her passing allow you to rejoice in her life with God, even now.
