Kornprobst: Charles A. “Korny” 89, of Hollsopple died October 8, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born July 13, 1927 the son of Charles Sr. and Katherine (Schoebel) Kornprobst.  Preceded in death by parents, wife Elizabeth “Betty” who died April 3, 2015, and two brothers and one sister.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  He is survived by his daughter Linda, married to Ronald Gindlesperger, Meyersdale; and son Kevin married to the former Barbara Snyder, Somerset.  Also four grandchildren, Craig Gindlesperger, married to Jami, Beth Gindlesperger-Walker, married to Philip, Brandon Kornprobst, and Brooke Kornprobst-Ogline married to Justin.  Also survived by six great grandchildren Logan, Ava, and Chloe Walker; Drake and Regan Gindlesperger; and Lydia Ogline.  Charles was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.  He was a veteran serving in the Navy and National Guard during WWII and Korean War.  He was a member of the American Legion for 69 years.  No viewing or services at Charles’ request.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.  Arrangements by George E.
