Thompson: Janet Valerie, 87 of Hollsopple went to be with the lord surrounded by her loving family April 11, 2017 at Windber Hospice.  Born June 9, 1929 in Johnstown the daughter of Urban and Almira (Stevons) Reavel.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters Helen McLaughlin, Marion Leber, and Mary Jane Drager, and brothers James Reavel and Eugene Reavel.  Survived by husband of 65 years Richard P. Thompson, Sr. and these children Robert married to the former Joyce Boratko, Mary Janine married to Paul Seitz, David married to the former Linda Scholl, and Richard P. Jr. married to the former Vicki Sendek.  Also survived by grandchildren Jennifer married to Mark Felbinger, Katelyn married to Brian Magerko, Brian married to Shannon Thompson, Travis Thompson, Michael Thompson and fiancée Adrienne Mahoney, Brianne married to Zach Vignero, Adam Seitz, Laura Seitz, and Meghan Seitz, and great grandchildren Charley, Sydney, Brooks, Kensington, Karissa, Grant, and Colt.  Also survived by special sister in law Jean Reavel.  Janet also has numerous nieces and nephews.    Member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.  She enjoyed to travel and cook for her family. Her love was spending time with family and friends who were the most important in her life. The family wishes to thank her caregivers Charlene, Joyce, Tammy, and Peggy for all their years of dedication and love to Janet and also the Windber Hospice.  Family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where Vigil for the Deceased will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held 10 A.M.
