Defibaugh John R. 86 of Hooversville died December 30, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Johnstown.  Born July 12, 1930 in McNeal town the son of Harry R. and Olive B. (Seymour) Defibaugh.  Preceded in death by parents and brothers Lloyd and Harry and sister Mary Marek.  Survived by wife of 60 years Shirley (Edwards) Defibaugh and these children John J. (Sophie); Dallas, Texas, Richard L. (Dawn); Hooversville, Randall L. (Jeanette); Jacksonville, Florida, Tracy L. Mains (Charlie); Derry, PA, and Sheri V. Krause (Christopher); Greencastle, PA.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of Elmer (Margaret); Buckstown, and Ester Olsen; Silver Creek, NY.  Member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church.  He was a US Army Veteran.  He retired as a truck driver for Sani Dairy with 33 years’ service.  He loved driving his truck. Family receiving friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral Service at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church.  Pastor Nila Cogan officiating.  Internment St. Thomas Cemetery.
