Correll: Peter A., Jr. 60 of Davidsville lost his brave battle to Pancreatic Cancer June 15, 2017 at Laurel View Village.  Born September 25, 1956 in Fort Brag, N.C. the son of Peter and Margaret (Blasko) Correll, Sr.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by brother David A. married to Charlene (Garrimone); Davidsville, sister Deborah married to John Cozzolino; Barnegat, NJ, nephew David Correll II, nieces Crystal Bailey, Nicole Cozzolino, Kimberly Cozzolino, and great niece Emma Mae Chabot.  Peter was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville.  He was a Capt. United States Airforce retired with 20 years of service.  He was a Veteran of the Persian Gulf War and Provide Comfort. Peter Enlisted in the Airforce in 1974 and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant from Louisiana Tech in 1983.  He served various posts overseas.  He was a missiler whose duties included Disaster Preparedness as an Executive officer.  He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Southwest Asia Company Medal with 3 bronze stars, the Korean Devine Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Nuclear Deterrence Defense Medal, as well as other medals.  He was formerly employed for National Drug Intelligence Center for 10 years as an analyst as well as a Teacher’s Aide at St. Patrick’s Catholic School, Johnstown working for Cambria County Child Development Corp.  Peter was a Life Member of VFW Post 155 and was a member of the Windber Ritual Team.  Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. where Vigil for the Deceased will be held.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father John Voytek O.F.M. Conv. officiating.  Committal Grandview Mausoleum with Military graveside services by VFW Post 155 Ritual Team.
