Roberts: Ruth E. died at the age of 99 from complications of dementia.  A survivor of the great depression, Ruth lived her life in honor of her family and friends.  A quiet, kind, and gentle spirit, Ruth loved cooking and was known for her home-made bread.  All who knew and loved her are greatly saddened at her passing; however, we are glad she finally has peace.  Preceded in death by parents Harley and Eunice (Marshall) Holsopple, husband Gilbert, daughter Karen Roberts Spinelli, infant grandson, and siblings Winnie Reed, Harley Holsopple, and Mamie Barthalow.  Survived by children Gary and wife Becky (Frederick), Randy and wife Sandra (Gallo) and son-in-law Patrick Spinelli.  Also survived by grandchildren Dan (Deb), Mike (Sue), Jim (Brenda), Bob (Cathy), and Rose Spinelli (Tom), Gary Roberts, Jr., Heidi Roberts, Melissa Roberts (Larry) Betcher, and Kimberly Roberts (Justin McDonald).  Also 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where funeral services will be held 11 A.M.
