Carl Lehman Obituary

Lehman Carl R., “Pete” 95 of Davidsville left this world to be with his Lord and Savior and his hunny, with his granddaughters by his side on April 6, 2024 at Laurel View Village.  Born March 18, 1929 in Spangler the son of Harry and Martha (Lee) Lehman.  Preceded in death by parents, his loving wife Margaret (Georg) Lehman, son Bruce Lehman, Daughter in law Barbara (Christ) Lehman, and brothers Harold and Robert Lehman.  Carl loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.  He had a passion for antique cars, especially his 1923 Ford Model T.  Along with his wife, they were life members of St. David’s Lutheran Church of Davidsville, PA.  He was also a member of Cambria Masonic Lodge 278 and Pittsburgh Scottish Rite 32 Lodge.  Pete was a previous Scout Master for Boy scout Troop 114.  He was employed by Lockport Aluminum and Brass Company in New York, A tool and die maker for Boeing Company of Seattle Washington, Oliver Fram Machinery of Davidsville, PA.  He proudly retired from US Steel as a supervisor in 1983.  Carl leaves behind 2 granddaughters Helene “Michael” Killmeyer and Tracy “Raymond” Zielinski 4 great granddaughters Jennifer, Emily, Sarah Killmeyer and Martha Zielinski.  He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his special buddy Niel Kaufman “Smily”.  Family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of funeral Service at Noon Thursday April 11 at St. David’s Lutheran Church in Davidsville with Pastor Mark Fischer officiating.  Interment Richland Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers family asks donations be sent to St. David’s Lutheran Church, Salvation Army, or the Red Cross in Pete’s memory.
