Carole Brenchak Obituary

Brenchak: Carole Ann, 81 of Davidsville died April 14, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Born September 17, 1942 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of Gerald and Anna Mae (Penner) Blank. Preceded in death by parents, husband Spurgeon Brenchak, and daughter Lori Bloom. Survived by son Spurgeon and wife Melissa (Kinneer). Loving grandmother of Jamie (Bloom) Lentz and husband Matt, Maggie Bloom and companion Josh, Bethany (Brenchak) Spengler and husband Luke, and Karly Brenchak. Also survived by her loving great-grandchildren Kara and Kaiden Lentz, Samantha and Natalie Comeford, Josie Spengler and her brother; a great grandson she was looking forward to meeting in August. She was the sister of Duane Blank and companion Joane, Barry and wife Linda (Burkett) Blank, and Susan Blank, her loving sister and friend who helped care for her until the end. Carole is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom she loved very much. She was a member of Davidsville Community Church and enjoyed volunteering in many places, including Tribe Time and Bible2School. She retired from Housekeeping at Laurel View Village and was a devoted mother, wife, aunt, neighbor, and grandmother. She had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. on Saturday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, in Davidsville. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday at Davidsville Community Church with Pastor Wes Yoder officiating. Private inurnment at Custer Cemetery. Family asks in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to Tribe Time or Bible2School, programs of Common Grounds Outreach.
