Betty Lou (Ankeny) Miller

Miller: Betty Lou (Ankeny), 72 of Davidsville passed away June 16, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.  Born November 8, 1946 in Central City the daughter of Hank and Cora (Hardy) Ankeny.  Preceded in death by her parents and nephew Michael Scott Ankeny.  Survived by her husband of 52 years and 8 months and 8 days Ronald Miller who she married October 8, 1966, and her sons Randy and wife Tammie and Mark and wife Lisa.  Also survived by grandchildren Mark and wife Brandy Golden, Emily Golden, Caitlyn, Abigail, and Isebella Miller, and great grandchildren Hudson and Bentley Golden.  Sister of George Ann (Ankeny) Manges, William Ankeny, Jean (Ankeny) Zanoni & Ronald Ankeny.    Member of Bethel United Methodist Church Hollsopple.  Betty Lou was a 1964 graduate of Shade High School.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her adoptive neighborhood grandchildren.  She loved gardening and watching butterflies and hummingbirds.  A special thank you to Windber Hospice and her husband Ron for the continued care for her during her courageous battle with cancer and her Bethel UMC family and friends whom provided continued support and prayers.  Family will receive friends from 5-8 Tuesday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 A.M.
