Brian E. Thomas

Thomas: Brian E. 64 of Hollsopple, went to be with the Lord January 21, 2019 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born April 1, 1954 in Johnstown the son of Boyd and Nancy (Kaufman) Thomas.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by his wife of 34 years the former Cheryl Folk and mother Nancy Thomas.  Brother of Chris married to Floyd Lehman, and Jerry and friend Lisa Pace.  Also survived by many Brother and Sister in Laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Brian attended Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship where he sang with the Praise Team.  He formerly worked for Marvin Kaufman as a plasterer and most recently worked for Conemaugh Hospital in the OR as a Central Service Supply Technician.  Brian had a Pilot’s license and enjoyed flying and watching steam engines.  Brian also loved spending time with his family and friends.  Family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 A.M. Friday at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship.  Pastor Jim Gay officiating. Interment Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.  Those who wish can make donations to Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship’s Mission Trip fund.
