Carol (Popp) Jeffers, age 73, of Davidsville, PA. went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018 and was surrounded by family. There’s a special angel in heaven that will always be a part of us. Carol was born on Nov. 7, 1944 in Johnstown, PA. to Joseph and Alice (Buchan) Popp.
Carol was a graduate from Franklin High School in 1964. She was a member of Rotary Paul Harris Fellow Club and T.P.A. (Travelers Protective Association). Carol worked alongside her husband Walter of 52 years as owner of J&O Draperies.
Her greatest passion in life was being with her family. She lived her life for her daughters and grandsons. Carol was a loving wife, mother and Bubba whose love was unconditional. She will be remembered as a selfless, loving special angel with a quiet strength. Her smile always lit up a room while telling stories or showing pictures of her daughters and grandsons.
She battled ovarian cancer for 4 years and you never heard her complain. She loved and lived every moment she was given, neither hard times nor cancer would rob her of who she was. Always graceful, beautiful inside and out, a special angel, God called her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest brother, Joseph Popp.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Jeffrey) Myslewski of Greensburg, PA. and sons Jay, Brett and Max; Lana (Edward) Cooper, children Alexis and Nic of Charlotte, NC. And Bridget (Patrick) McGuire and son Hayden of State College, PA.
Also survived by her brothers and sisters: Dolores Andrian, Robert Popp, William Popp, Dan Popp, Diana Malinosky and Clifford Popp.
In honoring Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life this summer. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a scholarship fund in memory of Carol.
