Berkebile: Donald D. 81 of Hollsopple with great sadness in our hearts we have watched our Dad go home to the Lord.  Born April 2, 1937 in Hooversville the son of the late Harold and Nettie (Housel) Berkebile.  Preceded in death by beloved wife of nearly 60 years Betty Jane (Lambert), great grandson Carson Beahr, brothers Kimmel, Melvin, Robert, and Mervin Berkebile, and sister Betty Inscho.  He leaves behind to cherish his beloved memory his children Roxanne “Rocky” Toath Corbett married to Dave Corbett, Hollsopple; Randy married to Vivian (Haney), Boswell; Trina, Hollsopple; Jeffrey and fiancée Dana Beahr, Hollsopple; Timothy married to Diane “Dee Dee” (Chervenic), Confluence and 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Brother of Ellis and wife Beverly, Windber; Gary and wife Nancy, Maryland Reba and husband Don Atwell, Florida; Imogene and husband Maurice Bioga, Maryland; Dawna and husband Dennis Corella, Hollsopple.  Brother-In-Law of Shirley and husband Tony Zeh, Jerome; Genny and Husband Jack Hinkle; Florida, Ollie Lambert, Central City Also survived by many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and very much loved friends including Nancy Caola and Karen and Ben Phenici.  Member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 66 for 50 years.  Life member of Hooversville Sportsman’s Club.  He was a member of Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren in Blough until it closed and was now a member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren.  He was an avid hunter who enjoyed watching the deer, bear, and turkeys and all wildlife.  He enjoyed gardening, John Deere tractors and spending time with his family and other activities.  Don will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. and from 10 A.M. until time of Service at 11 A.M. Saturday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren.  Pastor Guy Myers officiating.  Interment Custer Cemetery.
