Keafer: Donna J., 90, went home to Jesus on October 12, 2019. She spent most of her life on the Dwinna Dairy Farm in Soap Hollow, Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Her last years were lived at Laurel View Village. Born July 13, 1929 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by her husband, Dwight and parents, William and Emma Witt. Survived by children Dwight (Sarah), St. Johnsbury, VT; Sheldon (Darlene), McCall, ID; Adrian (Kathy), Soap Hollow; Jeff, Somerset. Grandchildren: Amy, Heather, Matthew, Briana, Ben, Betsy, Emily, Adam, Seth, Garrett and great-grandchildren Hayahn, Sun-nyeo, Margaree, Ivy, Sage, Cayden, Jioriel, Jiordani, Samantha, Emmanuel, Reed, Patience, Tennyson, Jude, Twila. Brother: Rev. Gerald Witt (Rowena), Johnstown and Sister: Verla Witt, McCall, Idaho, Brother-in law David Keafer, Johnstown and sister-in law Eleanor Mock, Windber. Donna worked as a home health aide for Community Nursing offering care and compassion as well as foot massages to every client. She was an avid artist and member of the Allied Artists of Johnstown. Her family members will cherish over 40 of her creations. She was a long-time member of St. Davids Lutheran Church in Davidsville making many trips with Dwight to Lutheran Men conventions. She was also active with Pennsylvania Farmers Association. The family would like to thank the excellent staff at Laurel View Village, especially those in Reflections and the Arbor for the love and care offered to Donna in her final years. Friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Memorial service will be held at Laurel View Village Chapel on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M.
