Lawrence Arnold Mitchell

Mitchell: Lawrence Arnold, 88 of Davidsville, is with his Lord and Savior now,  on March 26, 2019.  Born January 27, 1931 in Pine Run, PA the son of William and Gladys (Embleton) Mitchell.  Preceded in death by parents, first wife Wanda (Shaffer) Mitchell, and brothers William, Leo, and Donald.  Survived by wife of 12 years Margaret R. “Peg” (Gindlesperger) Mitchell and these children Bradley and wife Jean Mitchell, Barbara and husband George Lashinsky, and Beth Mitchell.  Also survived by Stepchildren Tim Rininger and Sandy Natta.  Loving grandfather of Brett, Shane, Tyler, Nathan, Hope, Chloe, and his 4 great grandchildren.  Larry also had 2 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren and special niece Alicia Wallace.  Brother of Robert and wife Elsie Mitchell.  Larry’s 3 loves were Jesus, the Church and his Family.  He was a faithful member of Davidsville Community Church where he was a Trustee.  He was a Sargent in the First Class Tank Battalion 82nd Air Born Division during the Korean War.  He retired from Bethlehem Steel with over 40 years’ service.  Larry loved being outdoors spending time with his family.  Family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until time of funeral Service at 11 A.M. Thursday at Davidsville Community Church with Pastor Rick Conrad officiating.  Interment Berkey Cemetery.  Family asks in lieu of flowers please make donations to Davidsville Community Church in Larry’s memory.
