Thomas: Nancy Lois, 95 of Boswell, formerly of Tire Hill died December 6, 2019 at her daughters’ home where she resided. Born December 20, 1923 in Tire Hill the only child of David E. and Hattie M. (Yoder) Kaufman. Preceded in death by parents, husband Boyd N. Thomas who died December 29, 2009, and son Brian E. Thomas who died January 21, 2019. Survived by these children Nancy Christine married to Floyd Lehman, Jerry and Significant Other Lisa Pace, and daughter in law Cheryl (Folk) Thomas. Also survived by grandchildren Eric and wife Melissa Lehman, Jill and husband Michael Mazowiecki, Hattie Jo Lehman, Andrew and wife Melody Lehman, Christian Thomas, Jennifer Thomas, and great grandchildren Benton and Aidia Lehman, Brody and Aila Romano, John, Luke, Peter, and Matthew Mazowiecki, and Keisel and Davis Lehman. Lifetime member of Stahl Mennonite Church where she served in many capacities. Nancy graduated from Conemaugh Township High School and went to Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and graduated with her RN in 1945. She later graduated from IUP with a BS in Education. She volunteered at World’s Attic and Meals on Wheels for many years with her husband Boyd. Nancy loved camping with her family and friends. She served the Conemaugh Township School District as “Nancy Nurse” covering over 30 years. Family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Stahl Mennonite Church. Pastor Jayne Byler officiating. Interment Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
