Ruth Mary (Stein) Seganos

Seganos: Ruth Mary, 93 of Arbutus Park Manor formerly of Krings died May 18, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor surrounded by her family.  Born November 9, 1925 in Johnstown the daughter of Walter and Josephine (Haas) Stein.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Andrew F. Seganos who died in December of 1983, son Andrew J. and daughter Ruth M. Pitera, son-in-law David Punako, 1 infant brother, 2 infant sisters, brothers Leroy, and Walter, and sisters Kay Dudish and Grace Piskura.  Survived by these children Cecelia married to Jerry Secora, Bernadette and fiancée Gary Gardner, Mary Jo married to Ken Watkins, Mike married to Tracey, Greg married to Diane, and Mark married to Marsha, daughter-in-law Peggy Seganos, son-in-law Jeff Pitera.  Also survived by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Sister of Monica Coyle.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Ruth was a charter member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.  She enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent in Johnstown.  Ruth enjoyed going to the cottage and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was always the first to say get the cards out.  The family wishes to thank Jerome Country Manor, Windber Hospice, and her recent home Arbutus Park Manor for their great and loving care.  Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where Vigil for the Deceased will be held.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church.  Father Matthew Reese officiating.  Committal Grandview Cemetery.  Family asks donations be made to Arbutus Park Manor or Windber Hospice in Lieu of flowers.
