Scott Allan Gress

Gress, Scott Allan, 48 of Johnstown; born June 17, 1969 went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2018; Son of Dr. George Gress and the late Dolores (Dee); he is an angel to wife Tammy; daughters, Brendallynn (Glenn Rosey) with grandson, Ezekyal, Emma Leigh, and Caroline; brothers, Dr. Michael (Lori) and Mark (Laura).  He also had many uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces; and special friends, Daria Kordell, Lenny Petak and his work crew.Scott was a hardworking, avid outdoorsman who had a wonderful group of friends who enjoyed hunting, fishing and kayaking with him. He was a skilled mechanic who was always willing to offer his guidance. He loved his family and enjoyed camping with his three girls, building bonfires, and making sarcastic dad jokes.Scott worked for Allegheny Trucking Company in Altoona as a service manager and attended Oakland United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received at George Mason Funeral Home, 1687 Tire Hill Road, Davidsville, PA on Monday, February 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; service is at 3:00 p.m. Reverend Randy Bain officiating.
