Barbara G. (Koontz) Emerick

Emerick: Barbara G. 86 of Boswell died June 26, 2022 at home with her family.  Born June 17, 1936 in Jerome the daughter of Ralph and Etta (Oakman) Koontz.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert W. Emerick who died March 19, 2011, and brothers Ralph “Butch” and wife Joan Koontz and Lloyd Oakman.  Survived by children Debra J. Married to Jeff Lebo, Robert W. Emerick II, and Tracey L. Ogline.  Also survived by grandchildren Jessica and Joshua, Great grandchildren Ben, Luke, Jacob, Gionna, and Jaxson, and great-great grandchildren Iyla and Matteo.  Sister of Charles and his wife Karen Koontz.  Barbara was a member of New Beginnings Outreach Center.  She formerly worked for Dorfman and Hoffman Sewing factory and retired from Mellon Residence in the housekeeping.  She loved camping and her trips to Florida, but most of all spending time with her family.  A funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Thursday at New Beginnings Outreach Center 7398 Somerset Pike Boswell with Pastor Kurtis Frampton officiating.  Private inurnment.
