Barbara Ann (Holsopple) Lubas

Lubas: Barbara Ann, 78 of Hollsopple died April 17, 2024, at Somerset Hospital.  Born March 18, 1946, in Hollsopple the daughter of Harold R. and Edythe M. (Mitchell) Holsopple.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Jacob Lubas who died November 16, 2020, grandson Jeremy, and siblings Robert, Ruth, Kenneth, Donald, and James.  Survived by children Denise Davenport, Pamela Wentz, Loran “Hoss” Wentz and wife Cheryll, Debbie Samone and husband Michael, Greg Wentz, and Heather Miller.  Also survived by grandchildren Joshua, Tiara, Lydia, Quinn, and Angela and husband Jr, and great grandchildren Hailey, Jeremy, Lilly, Knox, and Wrenly.  Barb worked in the sewing factory JC&Me where she was the Shop Steward and Union Rep. and later did alterations for friends and family at her home.   She also was a Real Estate agent for Century 21 out of Somerset. No viewing or services at her request.  Inurnment Custer Cemetery next to her Husband Jake.  Arrangements by the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc.
