Betty A. (Miller) Jacobs-Puline

Puline: Betty A. Jacobs 97, of Boswell died February 18, 2019 at In Touch Hospice in Somerset.  Born July 26, 1921 in Davidsville the daughter of Mahlon and Lydia (Mishler) Miller.  Preceded in death by parents first husband Frank Jacobs, second husband Carl Puline, grandson Brian Jacobs, brothers Owen, Ray Sr., Leroy, William, and sister Irene Thomas, Alma Lee, and Ivy Slagle.  Survived by son Frank J., Jr. and grandsons Bradley Jacobs, Frank Jacobs, III, and Craig Jacobs.  Also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.  Betty attended Kaufman Mennonite Church.  She had lived in Florida for 29 years and managed the Sea Patriot and Surf Side Motel in Miami Beach Florida.  She had taken flying lessons in the 60’s.  Here at home she loved to work outside mowing her grass just up until last year with her dogs Josey and Jessy on either side of her.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. Entombment Grandview Mausoleum.
