Betty Layton Obituary

Layton: Betty Katherine, 89 of Davidsville died May 15, 2022, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born September 17, 1932, the daughter of Edgar and Erma (Stauffer) May. Preceded in death by parents, husband Don Layton, daughter Roxie Adams, and son David Layton. Survived by children Donna Lonas, Roger Layton, and Miriam married to Ed Edmonson. Also survived by grandchildren Shellie and Ashley and several other grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Betty enjoyed hunting and fishing. She loved to sew, crochet, garden, canning, eating ice cream and going on long rides with her son David. Betty had a love for all her animals. A special thank you to her great granddaughters Mattie and Olivia who helped take good care of her and her hospice nurses Patty and Jaime. No viewing or service at her request. Interment Richland cemetery next to her husband and son. Arrangements by George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.
