Clifford W. "Kip" Ott

Ott: Clifford W. “Kip” 82 of Jerome went home to the Lord peacefully November 22, 2023, at Jerome country Manor.  Born August 19, 1941, in Johnstown the son of Lester and Helen (Shankle) Ott. Preceded in death by parents, wife Carole Jean Ott who died April 14, 2019, and infant twin brother.  Survived by his sons Brad and wife Beth, Eric and wife Shelly, and Jeff and wife Amy.  Loving grandfather of Becky and husband Dan, Cassie and husband Jeremy, Brendan and wife Emily, Brittany, and Meagan.  He loved his great grandchildren Althea, Emma, and Jack.  Brother of Jerry and wife Lois, Rich and wife Irene, and Gloria Ott.  He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Kip was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren where he was a Deacon and member of the choir.  He graduated from Conemaugh Township High School.  For many years he was the pastor of Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren.  He enjoyed going to Ocean City with Carole and the family.  He really enjoyed sitting on his front porch with family on the swing.  The family wishes to thank Jerome Country Manor for their loving care and compassion of Kip and their family.  The family will receive friends from Noon until time of funeral service at 2:30 Sunday November 26, 2023 at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville. Pastor Chris Fuska officiating.  Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
