Dale Edwards Weissner

Weissner: Dale Edwards, 79 of Hollsopple died May 23, 2022, at home. Born October 18, 1942, in Washington DC the son of Venetia May (Pickens) Baumbarger and James Baumbarger.  Preceded in death by parents and sister Donna Alley-Casey.  Survived by wife Linda (Yoder) and his daughters Wendy married to Timothy Telenko, Stacey married to Steve Cahill, and Pam married to Larry Huffman.  Loving grandfather of Nicole married to Josh Frankenfield, Hannah married to Josh Babl, Maggie Telenko, Tanner, Taylor, and Toby Cahill, and Colten and Landon Huffman.  Also, a great grandfather of Eleanor, Joanna, and Max Frankenfield.  He was the brother of Karen (Paul) Schaefer, Jack (Sandy) Weissner, Patty Klopher-Miller (Steve) Miller, and brother-in-law Dan Casey.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and best friend Mike Honkus.  Dale was a member of the Army Reserves for 6 years.  He was a member of the Iron Workers Unions Washington Local 201 Union and Pittsburgh Local 3.  He was proud of his accomplishments in his own steel business DEW Steel Contractors.  Dale loved his Redskins and listening to Elvis.  He loved his farm owning and riding his horses.  He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting with friends and family.  He most of all loved his family.  Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home. Inc. Davidsville.  Funeral Services will be held 11 A.M. Friday at Thomas Mennonite Church with Pastor Donald Zeek officiating.  Interment Blough Mennonite Cemetery at a later date.  Family asks in lieu of flowers please make donations to Jerome Fire Department or Conemaugh Township EMS.
