Darlene A. (Berkebile) Coutts

Coutts: Darlene A. (Berkebile), 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Windber Hospice.  She was the wife of the late Ward J. Coutts, Jr. who died on March 17, 2000.  She was the daughter of the late George R. Berkebile and Phyllis (Decker) Berkebile Washko.  She is also preceded in death by her siblings Telford, Mary Noon, Betty Orawiec, and George.  She was the last member of her immediate family.  Survived by her son Mark married to Linda (Yoder) and granddaughters Megan married to Seth Burkert, and Katie married to Chad LeVan.  Also survived by her great grandsons Jaxson and Everett Burkert.  Darlene is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Darlene retired from Windber Hospice as the first Nurse’s Aide.  At her request, a private interment will be held for immediate family members at Richland Cemetery.  Her family asks in lieu of flowers family asks donations be made to Windber Hospice in memory of Darlene.  Your life is your gift from God, what you do with it is your gift to him.  Arrangements by the George E.
