Thomas: Deborah D. 65 of Johnstown died January 21, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Born July 17, 1953 the daughter of Donald and Twila (Holsopple) Unger. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents Cyril and Carrie Holsopple, and Paul and Edith Unger, and nephew Wayne and great nephew Zayne. Survived by husband of 41 years Roger Thomas and sons Daryl and wife Susan and their daughter Kayla Mikeal, and Neil and friend Jessica. Sister of Linda Unger and Donald Unger married to Walter Waskawicz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and family. Member of Benscreek Lutheran Church. She retired from Conemaugh Township Elementary as a head cook. She loved camping, Reading and riding her motorcycle. The family wishes to thank Windber Hospice, Her nurse Kelly, and the staff at the Joyce Murtha Cancer Center for all their love and support. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-8 at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 10:30 A.M. at Benscreek Lutheran Church. Rev. Jonathan Adams officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery. Family asks donations be made to Windber Hospice or American Cancer Society.
