Denise Gayle (McDaniel) Filo

Filo: Denise Gayle, 63 of Boswell died March 25, 2018 at home.  Born September 4, 1954 in Johnstown the daughter of Arthur and Evelyn Ruth (Strayer) McDaniel.  Preceded in death by parents and sister Donna Faith.  Survived by husband of 43 years Daniel J. Filo and their daughters Heather married to Bruce Goldstein, and Danielle Hobar.  Also survived by her precious grandchildren Braydon and Jakob.  Sister of Mona Freeman and Wanda Bell.  Denise is also survived by special niece Lisa Gore and her special dogs Gizmo and Lexi.  She was a member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church.  She retired from the billing department of Conemaugh Hospital.  Denise loved golfing, bowling, camping, her Disney trips  and the beach with the family, watching her grandkids play sports, and watching anything PITT.  No viewing at her request.  Family will receive friends Friday from 10:30 AM until the time of the Celebration of Denise’s Life at 11 A.M. at Jennerstown United Methodist Church.  Pastor Chuck Hildbold will officiate. Family asks donations be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Boswell Fire Department
