Dolores Jean (Lorensic) Carrico

Carrico: Dolores Jean, 93 of Tire Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior February 2, 2025, at home.  Born March 27, 1931, in Johnstown, the daughter of Louis C. and Isabella V. (Howard) Lorensic.  Preceded in death by her parents.  Survived by loving husband Ted Carrico of 71 years who she met when she was a head cheerleader and he the team captain of the football team at Conemaugh Township High School and married in May 30, 1953.  Also survived by son Craig Carrico and wife Dione.  Loving grandmother of Cree Alyse and Craig Alan II who she adored very much.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Jeanne was an active member of Tire Hill Covenant Brethren Church where she was involved in many capacities including; Choir, Treasurer, Deaconess, Sunday School teacher for over 35 years, and Youth Advisor.  She always had a smile on her face and loved to visit her friends and family.  She would love for all who visit to wear red, her favorite color, in her memory.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. Friday at Tire Hill CBC in Tire Hill with Pastor Brian Simmons officiating.  Entombment Richland Mausoleum.  Those who wish can make donations to Tire Hill Covenant Brethren Church in Jeanne’s memory.
