Edna Mae Thomas

Thomas: Edna Mae, 89 of the Brethren Home in Windber formerly of Hollsopple died May 18, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.  Born December 5, 1928 in Jenner Township, Somerset County the daughter of Curtis and Hattie (Lape) Thomas.  Preceded in death by parents, brother Delbert and infant sister.  Survived by sister-in-law Phyllis Thomas, niece Linda Baraniak, and nephews Edward and Brian Thomas.  She was an active member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren in her younger years.  She enjoyed making quilts and doing cross stich and embroidery work.  Family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren.  Pastor Guy Myers officiating.  Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.  Family asks donations be made to Maple Spring Church of the Brethren in her memory.
