Naugle: Edward George, 82 of Hollsopple originally from East Conemaugh passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his daughters and family on September 26, 2024. Born May 6, 1942, in Johnstown the son of Henry and Betty (Dawson) Naugle. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Corinda Freeman and Mari K. Buksa. Survived by wife Sandra J. (Sheppard) Naugle and these children Wendy J. married to Daniel Griffith and Christy S. married to Richard T. Williams Jr. Loving grandfather of Jusdan (Chelsea) Griffith, Aaron Griffith, Cassie Griffith (Dalton), R. Timothy Williams III, and Alexander Williams. Ed is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He attended Conemaugh Valley High School and enlisted into the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962 and then in the Reserves from 1962 to 1965. He attended Carnegie College. Ed was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church in Davidsville. He worked for Meyersdale Hospital as a X-Ray and Lab Tech he then worked for US Steel and retired from Penelec as a Lead Lineman. He was an avid Hunter who raised and trained beagles. He loved taking grandkids hunting. He was a Lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. Ed also enjoyed coaching youth football. The family wishes to thank Asera Care Hospice, Eilene G, Danielle, and Georgetta. The family will receive friends from 2 until time of funeral service at 3 Saturday at Laurel View Village Chapel with Pastor Wes Yoder officiating.
