Edward "Allen" Walker passed away on Friday, May 13th, 2022, at Meadow View Nursing Center located in Berlin, PA. Allen was born on January 12th, 1956 in New York to Edward and Darlene Walker. The family soon moved back to Hooversville, PA. Allen is preceded in death by both his mother and father He is survived by brothers Greg Walker and fiancé Stacy Kuhn of Hooverville; Kevin Walker and wife Francine of Hershey, PA and sister Debbie Wade and husband Ron of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by nephews Andy Walker and wife Lyndee of Hooversville; nephews Ryan and Justin Walker of Hershey, PA; and former wife Barb (Poder) of Hummelstown, PA. After graduation from Forbes High School in Kantner, PA in 1973, Allen joined the US Army. He received an honorable discharge as an E4 from the 101st Airborne Division. Allen worked for many years at Lincoln Supply in Boswell, PA and Dolan’s Chevrolet in Somerset, PA. Allen enjoyed fishing and camping, spending many hours at the Quemahoning Dam and Somerset Lake. In recent years, he was content watching the Pittsburgh Pirates or Steelers on TV. To those that knew Allen the best, appreciated his generosity, and his kind and gentle nature. Allen will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Especially his friends at Stoney Creek Commons in Hooverville, where he resided for the past several years. Services will be held at 1:00 Thursday, May 19th, at George E. Mason's Funeral Home in Davidsville, PA with internment at St Thomas cemetery to follow.
