Mishler: Esther (Naugle), 93 of Hollsopple went to her heavenly home on January 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Stella (Yoder) Naugle, husband of 60 years Merle Mishler who died November 27, 2012her beloved son Mark J. Mishler who died December 23, 2023, twin brother Lester and his wife Sara Jane (Penrod) Naugle, brother Richard, her father and mother-in-law Walter and Myra (Yoder) Mishler, and sister-in-law Grace and husband Don Speigle. She is survived by daughter in law Helen (Knepper) Mishler, son Dale and wife Erin (McLaughlin) Mishler, and daughter Diane and husband Rick Miller. She was the proud grandmother of Steve (Laura) Miller, Amy (James) Wright, Eden Mishler (Matt) Ihrig, Meredith Mishler (Darien) and Adeline Mishler. She had 7 great grandchildren. Esther enjoyed being with her family and her many friends including her special friends Brad and Michelle Callihan. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and making jellies. The yearly trip to the fair was a family event and she was awarded many ribbons and was selected into the Jelly Hall of Fame. She also made many quilts over the years. She was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School and a lifelong member of St. David’s Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Knotty Ladies and the Sunday School Class. Family will receive friends Friday from 2 -4 and 5-7 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 A.M. at St. David’s Lutheran Church in Davidsville with Bishop Emeritus Gregory Pile officiating. Interment Stahl Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family asks please donate to St. David’s Lutheran Church or Camp Sequanota in Esther’s memory. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; but in all your way acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
