Evelyn L. (Farris) Sullivan

Sullivan: Evelyn L., 86 of Hollsopple died December 9, 2021, at Windber Hospice.  Born July 27, 1935, in Jerome  the Daughter of Riley and Elizabeth (Harris) Farris.   Preceded in death by parents, husband of 67 years James E. Sullivan who died December 6, 2021, and these siblings Robert, Richard, Branson “Jr” Dewey, and Ray “Bud”.  Survived by these children Cindy married to Gary Smith, Jimmy “Sully” married to Christine Sullivan, Dale married to Christine Sullivan, John married to Edith Sullivan, and Deanne Sullivan and significant other Scott Jones.  Loving grandmother of Michael, Cassondra, Cheyenne, Dale E. married to Jennifer, April, Josiah, Scarlett, Joshua, John Jr., Mariah, Isaiah, Shane, Savannah, and John III.  Also, great grandmother of Kyler, Rylan, Harper, Elijah, Jessiah, Remington, Rowen, and Isaiah.  Sister of Gloria Dedik, Lorraine Oakman, and William “Bill” Farris.  She was an active member of House of Prayer Church in Somerset.  Evelyn was a foster parent for over 50 years adopting 3 children.  She loved baking, camping and Garage saleing. Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  No viewing at her request. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Jason Upton presiding at the House of Prayer Church.  Family asks in lieu of flowers please make a donation, in memory of Evelyn, to House of Prayer Church 438 West Ridge Drive Somerset, PA 15501 for their building fund.  Arrangements entrusted to the George E.
