Gary Stayrook Obituary

Stayrook: Gary Lee, 59 of Hollsopple died March 11, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH from complications with IPF.  Born June 15, 1959 in Johnstown the son of William and Janet (Zuccolotto) Stayrook.  Preceded in death by father and step father Donald Allmon.  Survived by mother Janet Allmon, his wife of 36 years the former Tina Mort, and these children Andy Stayrook, Ben married to Susan Stayrook, Ashley Stayrook and boyfriend Brian Robinson, and Stephanie married to Joe Crum, Sr.  Also survived by grandchildren Reed Cole, Jacob Stayrook, Evan Cates, Ashton Stayrook, Lexus Robinson, Jayden Miller, Joe Jr., Jaxson, and Scarlett Crum.  Brother of William, Allan, Trudy, Debbie, and Karen.  Gary was a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Operating Engineers Local 66.  He was a member of Jerome Polish Falcons and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Family will receive friends Saturday March 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where a private funeral service will be held.  The family asks donations be made to help with his medical expenses and sent to the IPF Foundation.
