George Daniel Benford

Benford: George Daniel, 75 of Seanor died November 21, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.  Born September 21, 1950, in Johnstown.  He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Gilliland) Benford and his daughters Jennifer married to Troy Holder and Tracy Benford.  He was the proud loving grandfather of Brandon, Hunter and wife Sarah, Garrett, Chase, Ashton, and Blake.  He was also the proud great grandfather of Maisie, Daniel, and Mason.  Dan was the brother of Roger, Mary, Sally, Margie, and John.  He was a faithful member of Davidsville Community Church.  He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing at the family cabin.  Dan was an avid steeler fan with many memories.  He enjoyed listening to Elvis, especially with his grandson who he passed the love onto.  His grandsons were everything to him. The family wishes to thank the Heartland Hospice for all their care and support to Dan over the last several weeks. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 11 A.M. Tuesday at Davidsville Community Church with Pastor Wes Yoder officiating.  Those who wish please make donations to Heartland Hospice 512 Georgian Pl, Somerset, PA 15501 in memory of Dan.  Arrangements entrusted to the George E.
