Marcinko: George Jr., 75 of Davidsville died December 8, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Born December 18, 1944 in Johnstown the son of George Sr. and Helen (Moll) Marcinko. Preceded in death by parents and sister Linda Skinkis. Survived by wife of 50 years the former Carol Ruffing and daughters, Sherry married to Bob Desort, Karen married to Brady Rouser, and Cathy married to Jim Noel. Loving grandfather of Drew, Derek, Lydia, Drake, Dane, and Adam. Brother of Barb Podolak. George was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School and Cambria Rowe Business School. He was a United States Navy Veteran. George was a member of several Bowling Leagues. He retired from Bethlehem Mines and was a self-employed house painter. He loved to garden and spending time with his family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Windber Hospice and the VA for all their support at George’s time of need. Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. with masks and social distancing at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held 11 A.M. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Aaron Maghsoudi officiating. Committal St. Michael’s Cemetery, Loretto.
