Gladys R. (Brown) Holsopple

Holsopple: Gladys R. 91, of Laurel View Village formerly of Hollsopple died September 27, 2018 at Laurel View Village.  Born April 9, 1927 in Jenner Township the daughter of William and Myrtle (Burkett) Brown.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald C. Holsopple who died May 17, 1999, Son-In-Law Gary L. Berkey, grandsons Gary Jr. and Joseph Berkey, and brothers and sister Clarence Brown, Kenneth Brown, Betty Croyle, and Robert Brown, and Father and Mother- In- Law John C. and Mary V. Holsopple.  Survived by daughters Janet married to John W. Hill, Donna married to Lawrence C. Graham, and Joanne widow of Gary L. Berkey.  Also survived by Grammy’s Grandchildren Jonathan (Amy) Hill, Maria (Justin) Shaulis, Jennifer (Richard) Kolonich, Holly Jo Walker, and Michael (Kelly) Graham, and Grammy’s Great- grandchildren Ryan Kolonich, Kirsten Shaulis, Kaylee Kolonich, Emily Shaulis, and Jameson Graham.  Sister-In-Law of Betty Brown.  Gladys was a faithful member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren.  She was a 1944 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School also a graduate of Memorial Hospital Class of 1949 with an RN in Nursing and was a member of the Cadet Nurse Corps.  Gladys was formerly employed by Memorial Hospital.  Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 P.M. Sunday and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.  Pastors Guy Myers and Wes Yoder officiating.  Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
