Yoder: Glenn R., Jr. 95 of Davidsville died July 4, 2023 at Laurel View Village. Born May 17, 1928 in Hollsopple, he was the son of Glenn R. and Ida (Stern) Yoder, Sr. Preceded in death by parents and these siblings; John, Evelyn Bracken, Peg Marian Saylor-Moore, Robert, Esther Suskie, Alverda Beam, and Russell. Survived by wife of 71 years the former Ruth Thomas whom he married June 21, 1952 and these children; Terry married to Robin (Kolesar) Yoder, Thomas H. married to Janet (Gibson) Yoder and Chris Yoder. Loving grandfather of Lyndsay married to Joseph Delozier, Jenna married to Scott Kroner, Arielle Yoder, and Zachary Yoder. Also a loving great grandfather to his great grandchildren Aria and Austin Kroner. He was also a brother to surviving siblings Doris Mintmier, Dorothy Wacker, Patricia Shaffer, and Mary Ellen Woolson. Glenn was a partner in Yoder Electric, Inc. for many years with his son Terry. He was a longstanding member of the IBEW Local 5 Pittsburgh for over 72 years. Glenn was an avid hunter and belonged to the North American Hunting Club. Glenn will be remembered as a wonderful man for many reasons, including his generosity in baking and sharing his zucchini bread and strawberry rhubarb pie. At Glenn’s request, there will be no viewing. A Graveside service will be held at Blough Mennonite Cemetery on Saturday, July 29th at 11am. Arrangements are being handled by the George E.
