Rasmussen: Gwendolyn P. “Gwen” 92 of Hollsopple died March 17, 2017 at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.  Born December 3, 1924 in Altoona the daughter of James and Pauline (Norris) Foreman.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald L. Rasmussen who died August 6, 1986, daughter-in-law Gale Rasmussen, and granddaughter Crystal Rasmussen.  Survived by son Donald J. Rasmussen and Grandchildren Lisa and family and David and family.  Sister of Phyllis Donnelly.  She was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church Davidsville.  A 1942 graduate of Altoona School, a 1946 graduate of Honamin School of Nursing in Philadelphia.  Gwen was an Army Veteran where she was a First Lieutenant.  She worked for Lee Hospital and also Latrobe Hospital where she was the Supervisor in the Laboratory.  Family will receive friends Monday from 5 P.M. until time of service at 7 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.  Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona.
