Harry Jack Feathers

Feathers: Harry Jack, 93 of Davidsville died October 22, 2025, at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born May 8, 1932, in Warren County the son of Harry William and Louetta (Bennett) Feathers.  Preceded in death by parents and wife Phyllis I. Feathers who died October 11, 2005.  He is survived by children Jackie married to Alan Johnson, Sr., Jack married to Connie (Hartline) Feathers, Jamie married to James Fallon, and Terry married to Deborah (Young) Feathers.  He was the grandfather of Jarod (Jackie) Feathers, Joshua (Jaclyn) Feathers, Alan (Daniell) Johnson, Jr., Lucas (Nikki) Feathers, Spike (Courtny) Fallon, Timothy (Kelsey) Johnson, Jacob (Diane) Feathers, Bethany (Luke) Feathers, and Lucy Fallon.  Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of Bonnie Urquhart and uncle of Bonnie June Devenport.  Jack was a graduate of IUP with a Masters in Elementary and Special Education.  He retired from Conemaugh Township School District, having served from 1967 until 1990 and served as head Varsity Wrestling coach from 1967 to 1974.  He was the founder of the PJW Jr Olympics for Somerset County.  Jack was a member and officer of the Johnstown RC Flying club for many years as well as the Johnstown Tennis League where he was in many of the club’s championships.  He was an avid bowler, tennis player, and loved to play cards in the card club.  He loved to garden and take care of his yard and spend time with his family.  Jack was loved by his family, and his loving personality will be deeply missed.  The family wishes to thank Somerset Heartland Hospice for all their care and support over the last years as well as Arbutus Park Staff for all their care given to Jack during his short stay.  No viewing at his request and a Private Family gathering will be held at a later date.  Family asks donations be sent to Heartland Hospice or Arbutus Park Manor in Jack's memory
