Herbert F. "Butch" Rosey

Rosey: Herbert F. “Butch” Jr, 74 of Hooversville died October 2, 2022 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born January 21, 1948 in Somerset the son of Herbert, Sr. and June (Yoder) Rosey.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers Milton and John and sister-in-law Diane.  Survived by wife of 52 years Carole (Miller) Rosey and son Herbert F. Rosey III “Butchie”.  He will be missed by his furry kids Buffy and Cash.  Brother of Margaret “Peg” Deal and her husband and Butch’s close fishing and hunting friend Dean, Doris “Jean” Sullivan widow of Butch’s good friend and brother in law John Sullivan, sister-in-law Marsha Rosey, and many nieces and nephews.  Butch was the owner of Rosey Construction and worked hard.  He was a Vietnam Army Veteran.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  The family wishes to thank the Conemaugh Township EMS for all they have done to help Butch.  Family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.  A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday at Custer Cemetery with Pastor Sarah Adkins officiating.  Military Graveside service.
