Homer H. Shaulis

Shaulis: Homer H. 92 of Jerome died April 27, 2020 at Jerome Country Manor.  The last surviving member of his family.  Born September 30, 1927 in Somerset, PA the son of Norman L. and Carrie Grace (Dunmyer) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by parents, first wife Janet (Ream) Shaulis who died October 22, 1986, and these siblings, Elizabeth “Dolly” Koontz, Minnie Daniels, Marie Putman, Earl Shaulis, Eugene Shaulis, and Norman J. Shaulis.  Survived by wife of 25 years Shirley (Lybarger) Lepley-Shaulis.  Homer was a member of New Life Nazarene Church in Boswell.  He was a proud WWII Air Force Veteran.  He retired from Shaffer Block Company with 32 years of service.  Homer loved baseball and coached many young men over his years.  He also was an avid Hunter and fisherman.  No viewing or services.  A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment at Maple Spring Cemetery.
