Irene Angus Obituary

Angus: Irene, 99 of Windber Woods died January 4, 2021 surrounded by her daughters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Born September 24, 1921 in Paint Township Somerset County the daughter of George and Elvie (Orris) Marsh.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Walter Angus who died June 20, 1986, son Daniel, sons- in-laws William C. Buzzard III and Dave Empfield, great grandson Aaron J. Angus, and these siblings Gladys, Virginia, Alfred, Alice, and twin sister Ilene.  Survived by loving daughters Karen J. Buzzard, Suzann I. married to Joseph Risch, and Diana A. Empfield, and daughter-in-law Audrey C. Angus-Dubovecky.  Irene was the devoted grandmother of William C. Buzzard IV (Beth), Dana L. Peruso (William), Walter G. Angus (Elaine) Amy I. Stem (Steve), Steven J. Risch (Brittany), James D. Angus (Linsay), Stacey M. Hazlett (Jason), Scott D. Mcfeaters (Marisa) and 17 great grandchildren and11 great great grandchildren.  A member of Conemaugh Church of the Brethren.  In her free time Irene loved to Bowl, Crochet, fish, BINGO, going to the Casino, and playing cards especially Pinochle.  A private visitation and service will be held by the immediate family.  Interment Headrick Union Cemetery.  The family is being served by the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.
