Hoffman: Jack A. “Huffy the Bier Tap Man” 79, Johnstown, passed away April 6, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born in January of 1939. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Eleanor Hoffman; brother William Hoffman. He is survived by wife Betty (Fender) Hoffman; son Rick (Debra) Hoffman, and daughter Connie (Robert) Baker. Grandsons Robert (Katie) and Andrew (Allie) Baker; Matthew (Joy) and Erik Hoffman; Great Grandchildren Penelope, Elizabeth, and Liam Baker. Also survived by Aunt Louise Leap and Cousin Janet Ernest. Jack was a 1957 graduate of Ferndale High School. He was a Professional truck driver for Crane Co. and Sani Dairy, and was the owner of a beer tap cleaning and installation service. Member of the Johnstown Elks Lodge #175, UCT, and Odd Fellows. No viewing family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until time of Memorial service at 11 A.M. Saturday April 14 at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville Pastor Kevin McGhee officiating. In Lieu of flowers family asks donations be made in Jack’s name to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave. Windber, PA 15963 or his church Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church 3419 Main Road Bedford, PA 15522. Private inurnment Maple Spring Cemetery.
