Erb: James R. 74 of Johnstown died December 8, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born March 20, 1942 in Blairsville.  He is preceded in death by his mother Bernice (Muir).  He is survived by wife of 54 years Linda S. (Hutzell) Erb and these children Lynn married to Thomas Borischak; Windber, James married to Christine; Salix, and Kimberly married to Richard Leverknight; Hollsopple.  Also survived by grandchildren Shane married to Jennifer, Adam and fiancée Jessica, Kacie, Jesse, Cody, Kara married to Steve, Carrie married to Shay, Karlie married to Christopher, and Kelsey, and great-grandchildren Zander, Pepper, Laynie, and 2 more he was waiting for on the way.  He is the brother of David married to Marlene; Johnstown, and Bernard married to Rose; North Dakota.  James is also survived by his loving aunt Inez Salvia.  He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed golfing and reading.  James was an artist who loved painting.  He loved being with his family especially his children and grandchildren. He retired with 37 years from Penelec.  Family receiving friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10:30 until time of funeral service at 11 A.M. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church.  Pastor Len Findley officiating.  Internment Grandview Cemetery.
