James Palmer, Sr. Obituary

Palmer: James E., Sr, 88 of Jerome passed away December 1, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital.  Born January 8, 1932 in Jerome the son of George and Mary (Patula) Palmer.  Preceded in death by parents, and these siblings William “Bill”, George, and Dorothy.  Survived by loving wife of 60 years June ans his special dogs Peanut and Rosey.  Also survived by his children Christina Lepley, Angela Steck, James, Jr. and wife Donna, and Michelle and husband Bill Sterner.  Grandfather of Melissa (Steven) Grove, Matthew Lepley, Paul (Katie) Beener, Aaron Beener, Marisa (Chris) Kantz, Michael (Maria) Harr, and great grandfather of Addason, Andrew, Brody, Laiken, Ryleigh, Lena, Stella, Levi, and Sofia.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Jim retired as a coal miner from Florenee Mine.  He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean and Vietnam War.  He was known as the family jokester always smiling.  He was loved by all and will be missed very much.  We love you Dad (Pap) till we meet again.  No viewing or services at his request.  The family is being served by the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.
