SOTOSKY – James Anthony “Jimmy” / “Lem,” 86, of Monroe Township, New Jersey, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 7th 2025 while at The Gardens at Monroe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.   Born In Hollsopple on October 23, 1938, the son of Michael and Anna (Passuite) Sotosky.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers John (Dorothy), Frank (Dorothy), Michael, and sister Cecilia (Walter Hurst).  Survived by sisters Marie (Hostetler) of Davidsville, Catherine “Kiki” (Kohan) of Windber, and Theresa and husband Michael Kolonich, Woodstock, Va.  Survived by sister-in-law Joann (Michael), Windber.   Also survived by many nieces and, nephews.  Jimmy was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1963-1969.  He was also was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Spotswood, NJ.  Jimmy also enjoyed attending Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Helmetta, NJ.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan, and is remembered locally as once owning the Hollsopple Hotel and Drug Store. Jim enjoyed spending time with his dear friends and neighbors in Monroe Township, and will be greatly missed by those friends and neighbors, many of whom became just like family to him.  Including Bill and Sue Morrell, Dottie Cassidy, Kenny Chow, and Joe and Arlene, and “little Joe” DiMichele, all of Drake Ave, Monroe Township.  At the request of the family, there will be no viewing.  Funeral services, Mass, and burial rights will be held at 10am Friday, February 14 at St. Anne Church, 205 Woodstown Highway, Davidsville, Pa.  The Very Reverend Karl Kolodziejski officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in the name of James Sotosky, to The Gabriel Project Prolife outreach, via St. Francis of Assisi Church, 120 Barron Ave, Johnstown, Pa 15906 To leave condolences for the family please visit www.georgemasonfuneralhome.com
