Janet Marie (Zuccolotto) Allmon

Allmon: Janet Marie, 87 of Somerset died August 29, 2023, at Somerset Hospital.  Born June 13, 1936, in Johnstown, the daughter of Vigilante and Louise (Miller) Zuccolotto.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald Allmon, son Gary Lee Stayrook, and these siblings; Henry Zuccolotto, Eva Coy, Vigilante “Sunny” Zuccolotto, Eugene Litterine, Richard Litterine, and Helen Nagy Survived by her children William and wife Tina M. Stayrook, Karen and husband Charles Koontz, Allen Stayrook, Trudy and husband Joseph Piskor, Deborah and husband David Leventry, and Daughter-In-Law Tina L. Stayrook.  Also survived by stepdaughters Debra Finnell, and Tareese Nedderman.  She has many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janet was the sister of Delores Rouser, Clara Mehic, Albert Zuccolotto, Beatrice Zuccolotto, Florence Dirienzo, Carol Hersh, Donald Zuccolotto, and Mamie Westbrooks.  Janet was a bartender for many years at Pike Inn and Pete’s Tavern.  She was a member of Jerome Polish Falcons, Hollsopple VFW, and Jerome American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  Most of all Janet’s life was her family spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where Funeral Services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday.  Interment Blough Mennonite Cemetery.
