Joann Mae (Tobias) Henry

Henry: Joann Mae 87 of Stoystown died February 18, 2023, at The Patriot.  Born November 27, 1935, in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Lee and Rose (Sandella) Tobias.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Jerry G. Henry, Sr. who died October 10, 2004, and sisters Rosella Campbell and Mary Ann Bodecker.  Survived by her children Jerry Henry, Jr. and wife Paula (Clark), Brenda and husband David Hildebrand, and Karen and husband Rodney Benson.  Also survived by her grandchildren Jerry III, TJ (Becky), Nick, BJ (Angela), Heather (Brandon), Noah (Olivia), and Casey, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She was a member of the former All Saints Catholic Church in Acosta.  Along with her husband Jerry she owned and operated Henry’s Tavern for many years.  She loved to camp, shop, and spend time with her family.  The family will Receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc Davidsville where prayers will be said on Friday at 10 A.M. with Father Aaron Maghsoudi officiant.  Committal will be at Jenner Cross Roads Cemetery.  The family asks donations be sent to any Humane Society in her memory.
