Joseph Frank Ruparcic, Jr.

Ruparcic: Joseph Frank, Jr. died January 26, 2018 at the Allegheny Lutheran Home in Johnstown.  Born October 31, 1929 in Johnstown the son of Joseph and Mary (Yancec) Ruparcic, Sr.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by loving wife of 64 years the former Charlotte Shustrick and these children Joseph C. Kimberly A. married to Dave Burger, and Terry married to Lorie.  Also survived by grandchildren Nichole Rankin and fiancée Kyle Hartman, Joseph C. Ruparcic and his mother Georgeann, Micaela Ruparcic and Miranda Ruparcic and their mother Elaine, and step grandchildren April Richmond, Tim McAdams, and Tedd and Emma Dugan.  Brother of Josephine Kiley and John married to Joyce Ruparcic.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and beloved cat Chase.  Joe was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.  He was also a member of SNPJ, Krings (Conemaugh Township) Fire Hall, and UMWA Local 998.  He retired from Island Creek Coal.  Joe also was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved to play his accordion and polka.  He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.  No viewing at his request.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
