Josephine A. (DiMauro) Spangler

Spangler, Josephine A., 97, of Davidsville, died April 4, 2025, at Laurel View Village with her husband by her side. Born November 23, 1927, in Hollsopple, she was the daughter of Sam and Mary Rose (Negast) DiMauro. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Charles, Helen, Rose, and Pauline. She is survived by her husband of 77 years, Eugene Spangler. Jo was the loving mother of Linda and Gene and also the devoted grandmother of three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She graduated from Conemaugh Township High School in 1945 and later was a faithful and active member of St. David’s Lutheran Church. She loved knitting, reading, and crossword puzzles—but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. At her request, there will be no viewing; services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday April 12, 2025 at Laurel View Village. The family asks that donations be made to Laurel View Village Caring Fund, 2000 Cambridge Drive, Davidsville, PA 15928. Arrangements by George E.
